Fr Chuck Faso OFM is a Franciscan Friar and a Catholic Priest.  He joined the Franciscans (OFM) in 1960 and was ordained a priest in 1967.  Fr Chuck and his two brothers and two sisters were born in Chicago Heights in 1941.He was ordained in Teutopolis IL, taught in Oak Brook IL and Chicago.  Fr Chuck ministered at St Peter's-in-the-Loop Church (1978-1998), preached parish missions (1998-2008), ministers to Franciscans (men & women, religious and lay, since 2008), leads pilgrimages to the Holy Land (36 times), and other countries in the world.

Degrees:  Philosophy (1964, Cleveland OH), in Theology (1968, Teutopolis IL). Music Education (1972, DePaul University, Chicago), Liturgy (1976, Notre Dame University IN).  

Teacher: Music & Religion in High School Seminary (1968-1974), Liturgy at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago (1976-1986)

Preacher: Parish Mission preacher 1998-2008. Preaching retreats to Franciscans since 2008.

Retreats: Fr Chuck preaches retreats to Franciscans - men and women, lay and religious

Secular Franciscans: Fr Chuck is Spiritual Assistant to two Secular Franciscan Fraternities in Crystal Lake IL and Mayslake Village, Oak Brook IL.

Pilgrimages: Fr Chuck leads pilgrimages to the Holy Land (38 times from 1980 to 2015), to Italy, Turkey, Greece, Russia, France, Spain, Portugal, etc.
